DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY

I provide a written contract which we agree and sign at the start of our work together. This outlines my terms and conditions and provides security for both client and therapist. 
In signing our contract you give permission for me to store your information privately and confidentially while it is relevant to our work together, to be used in case of an emergency. If you wish to withdraw this permission at any time, please let me know either in person or by email at cathyrorchard@gmail.com.
With your permission, I keep brief, anonymised notes of our sessions to support our work together, and for depersonalised use in clinical supervision, which is a requirement of my professional bodies.
You have the right to ask to see any information about you that I hold. You also have the right to ask me to correct any information you believe to be wrong. If you have any concerns about how your information is being held, please discuss this with me. 
I am registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
